Key terms explained
Six ideas that decide whether your pins get found. Skim them once — they explain every number Pinlo shows you.
SEO — Search Engine Optimization
How your content gets found. On Pinterest, it means using the right keywords in your title and description so when someone searches "yoga mat for beginners," your pin shows up — not someone else's. Better SEO = more organic reach, more clicks, more commissions.
Pin Goal
What you want the pin to do. Pinlo writes a different style of copy for each one — pick the goal before you generate.
Drive clicks
Curiosity + urgency — gets people to tap your link
Get saves
Bookmark-worthy content — saves drive long-term traffic
Sell product
Benefit-led copy that pushes toward buying
Educate
How-to content — high saves, builds authority
Inspire
Emotional hooks — great for lifestyle niches
Build followers
Drives people to your profile, not just a product
Affiliate Marketing
You get a unique link for each product you promote. When someone clicks your pin and buys through your link, you earn a percentage of the sale — typically 1–10%. No inventory, no customers, no fulfilment. You create the pin, they buy, you get paid.
Niche
Your content category. Niche accounts perform better because Pinterest recommends your content to people already interested in that topic. Pinlo uses your niche to write copy that matches what your audience is actually searching for.
SEO Score
Every pin is scored 0–100 on keyword placement, title length, and description quality.
80+Well-optimized — publish it as is.
60–79Solid. Worth a second look, but it will rank.
Below 60Could rank better — regenerate and compare.

The story
I built this because
I needed it
I needed it
I promote other people's products on Pinterest and earn a cut when someone buys. Finding products was never the hard part. Writing the pins was.
Here's the actual job, if you've never done it. You pick a product worth promoting. Then you write a title for it, a description, and a set of hashtags. Then you do it again for the next pin. And the next one. Post a few a day across a couple of topics and you're writing dozens of these a week — each one a small decision that doesn't feel like much until you're staring at a blank box at 11pm avoiding it.
The thing that took me longest to work out is this: Pinterest isn't really a social network. It's a search engine. People type things into it the way they type into Google — "small bathroom storage ideas," "gifts for someone who has everything." That one fact changes how every pin should be written. A caption that would do fine on Instagram just sits there on Pinterest and gets nothing, because nobody was looking for it.
I'm not a copywriter. I just got tired of being mediocre at this five times a day.
So I tried the shortcuts everyone tries. General AI chatbots gave me copy that read nicely and ranked for nothing — they write for people who are already reading, not for people who are searching. Template packs had the opposite problem: too rigid, and everyone who buys them ends up sounding the same. Neither understood the actual job, which is that a Pinterest title has to survive a search result and earn the click once it's there.
So I built Pinlo — the tool I kept wishing existed. You tell it what you're promoting and who it's for. It writes the title, the description and the hashtags the way Pinterest actually rewards: a real hook up front, the keywords where the search index looks for them, and a description that opens with the problem the product solves rather than the product's name. The part that used to eat twenty minutes now takes about three seconds.
What I learned the hard way
Four things I wish someone had told me on day one. All four are baked into how Pinlo writes.
🔍
Write for the search box, not the feed
Someone has to be typing the words in your title. Clever beats boring, but searchable beats clever.
⏳
Pins don't expire like posts do
A tweet is dead in a day. A good pin can still be sending you clicks a year later — which is exactly why it's worth getting the words right once.
🎯
Lead with the problem, not the product
Nobody searches for a brand they've never heard of. They search for the thing that's annoying them. Name that first and the product sells itself.
🔁
Consistency beats perfection
Ten decent pins will out-earn one perfect one, every time. That's the whole reason speed matters — and the whole reason I built this.
